Goldfish had a bridal shower tonight so Chico and I were on our own - we spent the time walking up the backside of Bunker Hill. You can see Chico is looking fabulous as usual and I scraped off the beard for Spring cleaning because between the big rain storm the other night and the warm temperatures I think winter is on the run! You can see in the top photo how much snow has melted in the past week . . .

I don't think i need to say about how disappointed i am about you shaving your beard. Luckily you still have some time to grow it back before you come here. Love you lots daddio!

Christine, we have a traveling vet that comes every few months to provide basic care. For anything serious we all airlift our pets to Anchorage where there is a 24 hour vet clinic - it can be expensive. The last time we sent Chico out (he was having recurring loose stool) it was close to a grand for the flight and the vet visit.
Thanks Steve. I would imagine it would be costly. Interesting to know that someone comes there on occasion.
Steve - what a great picture of the harbor! This is the first time I've seen a picture of you and if Goldfish likes it without the beard, then that's all that counts! Chico is so cute! Hope Goldfish enjoyed her bridal shower! The best to you both!
