This is actually what I wanted to put on my pumpkin last year but ended up with a king crab instead, which was a lot of work. The hard part about using the church is deciding what angle to use - both onion domes, or just one? This year I looked through my church photos and just based it on a view that fit well on the pumpkin. Those of you that live here know the Russian Orthodox Church is absolutely beautiful from any angle. Before she went to bed, Goldfish made me promise to take a picture of myself with my pumpkin when I finished, looking exhausted just like last year . . . I really must figure out how to get more hours in a day . . . . I did experiment with a Dremel this year and it worked well for some things but was much more messy that my little carving chisels and didn't really save any time.

I was actually feeling pretty good about the pumpkin that i carved until i saw yours. I'll post some pics of mine after halloween on the other blog so everybody can see the girls trick-or-treating too.
