We know a few things about Chico - we know he has lived all or most of his life on Unalaska, we know the neighborhood he used to live in, we know he is around 12 years old. What we'll never know is why anyone would drop such an interesting, intelligent creature off at the pound. 14 months ago Goldfish rescued him on the day he was to be put to sleep and we couldn't be happier to have him as part of the family.

That is just the greatest story I have heard. Chico is a great dog. Looks like he belongs there.
I was glad to talk to you on Christmas Day Dad. You were the only one I managed to call too. I was pooped from the drive there to Mom's house. Then I had to drive back later on that night.
What a magnificent dog! Those eyes say it all!!! Every animal my family has ever had is from a shelter, and they seem to know you saved them.
