Pacific Sun

This isn't one of ours but if I'm out walking with my camera and a new boat comes through the East Channel I like to take a few shots. It would be cool to gradually collect pictures of the whole fleet . . . .

Steve, it never ceases to amaze me what light and location does to color. Many of your photos have this beautiful blue nuance. When some of our photographers went to Afghanistan, there was an eerie orange tinge to all their photos. Appreciate you being on the look-out for the fleet. Have a wonderful weekend!!

Cris, when i was hiking yesterday I took note of the light, and you're right, there is this prevalent blue tinge from the sun diffusing through the clouds, almost like shooting with a filter on the camera. This time of year direct sunlight is very rare - which just makes it more special when we get it!
