Lots of chopping involved . . . after sautéing the veggies, you add the chicken, flour, chicken broth, white wine, heavy cream, and seasonings.
I baked it for about 40 minutes at 400 degrees - she loved it! It was a nice evening, we watched the Grammy Awards together while I cooked and listened to the rain on the metal roof. Both the pie crust recipe and the chicken pot pie recipe are two thumbs up - and two paws up from Chico who sampled at various points in the preparation, as well as licked the bowls afterwards.

Congratulations! Two down, 58 to go. Love ya
Wow, nice job! Looks yummy, and a perfect meal for a winter night.
Beautiful--but that looks like a lot more work than I am interested in doing these days! I used to love to cook, but these days, I wish they made nutritious dried kibble for people like they do dogs. A cup twice a day and you are done!
Ooooo. Home-made chicken pot pie. That looks REALLY good, as a matter of fact!

I can't remember the last time I had a chicken pot pie! I swear I think it was when I stilled lived at home with mom and dad! (I think it is because I hate cooked peas that I haven't made any.) Looks like it turned out very well, and the most important part is that you had an enjoyable time preparing it! One down, 59 to go....or is that 58 - were they 2 separate recipes? Looking forward to the reports!!
Have you gotten any new traffic from the scribbler's award that I gave you? Your travel log was really well done. Thanks for sharing...glad you are back home and cooking on all four burners.

Looks absolutely wonderful! Glad it turned out. I would love the recipe for the perfect pie crust as I'm always making apple and pumpkin pies. I'll email you soon.
Beautiful! In fact, so beautiful that I am heading out the door to Chick-Fil-A right now...
