Out Exploring

We were out hiking in the valley last weekend, checking out a couple little lakes up in the mountains.  The third photo is a kind of neat view of Ballyhoo - if you enlarge it you can see the cruise ship that was docked for the day.  In the last photo you can see Chico checking out the house with the blue roof - it is for sale, and Chico was giving the neighborhood a close look as we were thinking of making an offer.

We will have to explore this area, too! Have not been out there at all. Are you getting the house?

So, what did Chico think of the neighborhood? It looks a little less like a 'hood that I am used to--where are the neighbors? :)

I'd like to know "which" cruise ships cruise to Dutch Harbor? Wish I was coming to Dutch on my cruise, but not this time. Good luck with the house!

Hey! If you and Goldfish moved into CD's neighborhood you could stop by for cocktails!

It is a great neighborhood and an awesome house. CD, I'm not sure exactly where you live, just the general area, and we hiked up the mountain, no road, so I'm thinking we were on the other side of the valley.

Lori, I'm not sure which cruise lines come out here but we actually get quite a few in the summer, more than I would have guessed . . . and Alena! - it's only 2.5 miles to that house from our place now, so without moving I think I'm in cocktail range, right?
