March Already

I can't believe February is gone and March is here in a flash, with me right back in the middle of the dreaded end-of-month reporting at work.  Time for a quick peek at how the goals are coming along - an ugly peek in this case.  Lets see, only 4 books and 83 miles on the recumbent bike in February . . . .yikes!

Good things did happen in February though - I went on some good motorcycle rides and hikes, got in lots of good walks with Chico, had some cool storms.  Goldfish and I both did great on our diets last month.  We went to the Chocolate Extravaganza at the Museum, started with the Unalaska Greatest Winners, walked in the Polar Bear Run.  We had some great get-togethers with friends and made a couple new ones, and we recorded a Story Corps interview.  Valentine's and Goldfish's birthday were both a blast.

It feels great to have a fresh month stretching ahead, ripe with possibility, and the weather has been amazing!  Cheers and good night . . . . .

Meant to tell you yesterday that the pictures from Bunker Hill (right?) is simply beautiful. I didn't even notice Chico until I double clicked and blew the pic up - I was too consumed in the town. I'm totally amazed at your weather. One day a blizzard and the next 50 degrees and sunny. Like I said - amazing! I think the east coast has more snow than Unalaska. Got to tell you that our weather here in southern FL has been very cool (and I say cool because it's not cold) this winter. I believe we've had more cool days this year than in the last five years total.

OK, so I have to ask you (again) - did you get my e-mail? Sent it about a week or so ago.....

Four books and 83 miles sounds great to me! You guys have inspired me and I started in earnest this weekend--bike ride on the agenda for today, but down 6 pounds already. :)

Steve, what kind of birds are those? Also, I need to review my goals too. I know I've done well on some of them...and not so much on others.

You have one up on me on the books for the month, but I'm pretty sure I outdid you on mileage (having kids will do that to a person, you don't get to stop moving till they say so).

Elizabeth, those are Emperor Geese. Suzassippi - great job! And Alena, I'm going to kick butt on mileage this month, so look out!

Hey little bro,
The type of books that you read is what says it all. I have read 7 but hey, there kid books or short stories. YOU, you get into in depth stuff. The end result, did you enjoy them.

Love and miss you.

Hey Sis, I always enjoy about any book I pick up, and these books have been no exception, even the two I read for Book Club. Love and miss you!
