Tonight after work I rode the motorcycle all the way out to Morris Cove (the end of the island road system in that direction), amazing considering the time of year and no winter road maintenance past Summer's Bay. The wind was howling then and it still is as I watch F/V Bulldog entering the East Channel and approaching the dock to make a crab delivery. Goldfish just scooted out the door, heading to the plant to meet the captain and get the paperwork started. I'm heading to bed to get some reading done, Book Club meets Sunday!
Hope. We all have it.

Hope gives us the capacity to find a methodology or strategy for making it
to a point where we want to end up. Having hopes and dreams gives us an
optimist...

I must be missing something. What is your job? What is hers?
BZ
BZ, she works in the main office and has to be present whenever a crab offload starts, to file the on-line reporting (among many other duties). I work in the engineering office ordering all the nuts, bolts, food, etc. to keep the plant going and the boats repaired.
I don't even have to ask how the food was at the "Grand" (that is if you ate), as CB shows us every Sunday. Did you see him by chance? We're on the out-of-sorts right now. Not sure what happened but I know he's very busy. I miss our chats - ANYWAY - BZ you are too funny! LOL! How long have you been reading Steve's blog?
Lori, I didn't see CB - he works days and lives in a bunkhouse about a half mile away from the hotel.
