Note from an Old Dude to everyone listening and reading: get to labeling or naming your photographs early, and organizing them as well. Years later you'll forget names and places and slap yourself for not doing so earlier.

Isn't it interesting how the hair went from buzz to bangs in such a short time? Rando is scanning all his dad's slides from the 50s and 60s, and it has been pretty fascinating.
Ever wonder if in the future, our technology won't read our current technology to be able to see all our pictures? I think of all the documents I had on my first computer with a program that now no longer exists, or the floppies that we can't use anymore.
Our photos are pretty easy to tell who is who. The blonde with straighthair and blue eyes is my sister...curly blonde with brown eyes is me...dark hair boy is my brother lol. If its of someone doing something bad...its me. I do worry about losing photos mostly due to technology advances.
How precious! My favorite is the blue snowsuit. What a cutie pie.
Good advice BZ! My Mom had pretty good notes on the slides but there was a fair amount of detective work involved in getting all those slides properly labeled.
Suzassippi, I bet you could get that info somehow, it's all ones and zeros when you get down to it. I was glad I scanned the slides when I did - some were starting to fade and show their age. Like photos, digital media like cd's and hard drives is only good for so long before the data degrades.
