Sorry this post is late, between work and class it has been a whirlwind. You know I'm busy when I miss the annual craft fair on Saturday!
We had a great Thanksgiving - you can see Goldfish's turkey came out perfect, the dogs played and ate to exhaustion, the boys got creamed in Wii bowling and tennis, and Elaine now has the distinction of being the only person in history to ever appear on two different Unalaska blogs in the same week . . . .
I have a lot to be thankful for this past year - I got to see all my family (some of them several times), we flew a couple people out to the island for visits, Chico remains healthy despite his age, I married the perfect woman, and I remain in love with where I live.
To all my on-line friends, thanks for your kind words and all the great posts on your own blogs. For all my island friends, thanks for all you do to make our lives out here special. Cheers everyone and all the best for the holiday season!

Goldfish did herself proud there, Steve. That turkey is beautiful! LOL Cali is nothing if not modest, is she? Glad to hear that you all had a wonderful holiday!
The turkey looks awesome and was probably much better than the turkey we had. Seems someone watch "Rachel Ray" and said to soak the turkey in salt water over night (I forget what it's called); anyway, very salty turkey this year. I've been blessed with a terrible cold over the holiday weekend, but back at work makes me feel so much better! That's the truth since I'm in the process of moving homes and have been setting up two other homes for soon renters. Ah, and now on to Christmas! Have a good one! Oh, and learned something new Steve. Didn't know I could double click on your pics to see them up close. Just an FYI - after blown up, the picture doesn't work to save to desktop, but the picture is whole lot clearer and more defined. Love it!
Sounds like Thanksgiving was wonderful. I hope the rest of your holidays are too!
Thank you for posting a picture that shows off my best "ASSet"!!!
LOL
And Again thanks for a Wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
Glad your Thanksgiving was great! I would have had crab - ahem - but everyone else outvoted me and we went for turkey and ham. Shucks.
Looks like it was nice and warm, on many levels, in your house that day!
