Some of you might remember my sister took a photo of an eagle posed similarly when she was visiting last month. I just wanted you all to know I too was capable of capturing "poetry in motion" . . .
The dang Olympics are wearing me out, and to my regulars I apologize, I'll be back soon and will be visiting your sites to get caught up! I blame Goldfish for this - I hadn't watched them since Carl Lewis was breaking records but now I'm hooked and we're making plans to be in London in 2012 . . . .
Hope. We all have it.

Hope gives us the capacity to find a methodology or strategy for making it
to a point where we want to end up. Having hopes and dreams gives us an
optimist...

Woo! Women's soccer! and beach volleyball...and track...yeah, I'm getting a bit burnt out too. I don't know what I'm going to watch when it's over though. :) -Carla
Wondering what happened to you! Hum, 2012 in London - that would be awesome! Classic picture - made my morning and just before breakfast - LOL!
little bro,
Obviously you are the pro in photo. I think if I had a year, I too could get some awesome pictures!
Miss you guys.
Hey, nothing like an eagle relieving itself under apparent great pressure!
Sorry, but I've not tracked the Olympics at all. My politics got in the way. I won't give those *&!@# the time of day in China.
On one positive note, I'm thinking of purchasing my FIRST DSLR. The Sony Alpha 200 with its TWO lens set is almost too good to turn down, despite my having to relinquish my myriad Memory Sticks for big Compact Flash cards.
But I STILL maintain: YOU have got the BEST nature photos on the net!

P.S.
You still gotta do something about your comments section. They REFUSE to expand for me; it's frustrating as hell. I have to make comments in this teeny, tiny box.
I agree with BZ, great photo's, I'm really enjoying them.
BZ,
If you can, look at the Nikon D300 or D3. The last camera you'll ever buy.
BZ and Ranando, I'm going to make a DSLR purchase sometime soon - money isn't really the object, it is more a matter of toughness. I need a piece of gear that will last under some - at times - extreme conditions. I'll put both your selections on my short list of candidates, thanks!
