Makushin Volcano was steaming away last night when I was over on Ballyhoo walking the dog. I tried to post some other pictures but Blogger is not cooperating tonight - maybe tommorow. The city is planning on building a geothermal project on Makushin to supply some of the enormous energy needs of a 24 hour a day processing town like Unalaska/Dutch Harbor.Sunday, February 10, 2008

Awesome shot! I live near volcanoes here on the west coast, you can never take them for granted.
