I start my new job in the Engineering department Monday so I'll be hanging up my rain gear and joining the white collar ranks. I've never worked with a finer bunch of coworkers than the ones on the line with me the last three months - Haime, Boy, Phillip, Edde, and Chayo - I'll miss you guys and will be back to visit. Cheers . . . . .

Golden Crab
I start my new job in the Engineering department Monday so I'll be hanging up my rain gear and joining the white collar ranks. Well, I hope you enjoy your new job! An Engineer? Very cool.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new job, Daddy Tompkins!
ReplyDeletelove and miss you,
megan
Not a engineer, just inventory control in engineering . . . think more like ship engineers with wrenches and greasy faces, not geeks! Not many geek engineers on Unalaska . . .
ReplyDeleteLove and miss you too Megan, I got the video of Aubrey today - I can hardly believe how she is whizzing around! How are the college classes? Hugs - Dad
Looks like a dangerous job just having all those crab rush in at you when they are unloaded into the plant. Pretty efficient it looks like though.
ReplyDeleteThe crab are not the least bit interested in causing trouble after being crammed in the ship's hold for days. They don't have too long to misbehave anyways - the guys standing in that window grab a crab, turn around, and slide it on the butcher rod that kills it instantly.
